Welcome to the Canterbury Association for Medieval and Early Modern Studies (CAMEMS)

CAMEMS aims to foster closer relations between the University of Kent’s (UKC) Centre for Medieval and Early Modern Studies (MEMS), Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) and local organisations with involvement and interest in the period, and the wider public.

We will provide support and promotion to events or initiatives relating to medieval and early modern studies in Canterbury and its surrounding areas and will act as an alumni/ae network for graduates of UKC and CCCU. We also aim to fund bursaries and awards through member dues and donations.
